Lorna León gave up the throne of the Caribbean’s most powerful rum dynasty for the life she chose: kitesurfing and running the Islands’ most beloved beach bar. When her mother reveals she is dying, Lorna steals the family’s magic mantle, convinced the miracle that once saved her can save Carolina. Hunted across the Islands, Lorna follows the source of the mantle’s power beneath the sea, where the god of the Current offers her an eternity with no last call.
A beach-bar queen who fled the rum dynasty built on her father’s sacrifice must race across a bounty-mad Caribbean to save her mother, knowing the only cure anyone has found may require her to repeat the sacrifice she has spent her life refusing.
Lorna León grew up owing her life to a family legend: her father died using the Coraza—a sacred relic that conducts the living Current—to save her as a newborn. The Leóns made his sacrifice the soul of their rum empire. Lorna ran, remaking the abandoned factory store as Sno-Cones, the Caribbean’s wildest beach bar, and refusing to let sacrifice define her.
Then Mad Millions arrives: a celebrity photographer who destroys irreplaceable things so his images can never be recreated. At the dinner announcing his purchase of the failing León dynasty, a family confrontation awakens the Coraza. A death blow meant for Lorna strikes her mother, Carol, who begins crystallizing into luminous amber.
With one night before the amber reaches Carol’s heart, Lorna steals Mad’s yacht and races through a bounty-crazed archipelago, carrying the relic everyone believes killed her father and may be Carol’s only cure.
Lorna La Patrona is a swashbuckling mother–daughter fantasy about refusing the false arithmetic of love: that because someone saved you, your life belongs to them—or must someday be spent in return.

The film moves through distinct worlds—Sno-Cones, Casa León, and the drowned paradise of El Rincón—plus a focused open-water unit. The result feels epic while remaining intentionally producible. The artwork in this deck reflects our intended screen language.
